Lost Railways of the Scottish Borders

By the latter part of the nineteenth century most towns in the Scottish Borders had a rail service. Falling passenger numbers led to line closures from the 1930s onwards, and this collection of photographs illustrates many of the area's lost stations, along with historic rolling stock.
