Old Eaglesham

Much-loved Eaglesham was in a dilapidated state after the Second World War, with many of its houses damp and crumbling. The pictures in this book show it in the early twentieth century when it was a self-contained village, and before it became a dormitory town for commuters. Includes pictures of Eaglesham House, Picket Loch, the old mill and Polnoon Lodge.
