Old Forth

Forth and the surrounding area was once at the forefront of Scotland's industrial revolution and this new history recalls the 175 years of mining and ironworking which went on there. Compiled and written by the Forth & District Initiative Group, a team of local people dedicated to revitalising the area and preserving its heritage, the book also contains pages on Wilsontown, Climpy, Braehead, Haywood, Auchengray, Woolfords and Tarbrax.
