Old Tayport

Mairi Shiels' informative captions accompany a lovely collection of photographs of this port on the Tay, including a number of smashing harbour scenes as well as pictures of the town and its principal streets. Amongst the more unusual images are two dramatic pictures of accidents at the harbour coal-drop, showing runaway railway wagons crashed on the decks of unfortunate trawlers.
