The Heart of Old Edinburgh

Centring on the historic Royal Mile, but also including neighbouring Princes Street, The Heart of Old Edinburgh illustrates many of the city's most famous landmarks as seen over the past 150 years. Well-known sights such as John Knox's House and the Scott Monument are featured alongside equally interesting but now vanished institutions such as Calton Prison and Mackie's department store. The floral clock in Princes Street Gardens, Greyfriars' Bobby, the City Chambers, Whitehorse Close, Jenner's and the Surgeons' Hall are some other Edinburgh locations featured.
