The Ken Valley

We had too many interesting pictures of the Glen Kens to publish in one book, so had to split the area into two. A companion volume to The Upper Glen Kens, this book covers Laurieston, Mossdale, New Galloway, Murray's Monument, Ken Bridge, Boat of Rhone, Parton and Crossmichael. It includes pictures of mansion-houses that most people won't have seen before, the old ferry at Boat of Rhone, vintage buses at New Galloway station, plus lots of attractive street scenes showing these popular villages and their occupants in the first half of the twentieth century.
