Yponomeutinae (Lepidoptera) of the World Exclusive of the Americas

The subfamily Yponomeutinae is one of the groups of Micro lepidoptera with a worldwide distribution, representatives of which occur in almost every habitat type, inhabiting both lowlands and mountains. The Yponomeutinae pose many interesting biological problems that make them suitable for evolutionary and phylogenetic studies. This volume presents an overview of the Yponomeutinae of the world exclusive of the Americas comprising 233 species (including four fossil species) classified in the 25 genera. The book also includes an annotated list of all known species, presented for the first time since the publication of Meyrick's List Yponomeutinae in Wagner's Lepidopterorum Catalogus and a brief historical survey of the work on the Yponomeutinae.
