British Dixidae (Meniscus Midges) abd Thaumaleidae (Trickle Midges)

These midge larvae are often found in unpolluted water. These keys cover the two groups separatley and split them down into adults, mature larvae and pupae. There are also notes on the ecology of both groups. The keys are illustrated throughout with line drawing to illustrate the main features and with some black and white photographs.
