A Field Key to the British Brown Seaweeds

This AIDGAP key should enable anybody to identify the majority of British macroscopic (larger than 1cm) brown seaweeds in the field, most of them to species level. Littoral, sublittoral and rare species are all included. A full glossary is appended, and numerous thumbnail sketches are incorporated in the text to help ease-of-use. All plants are fully illustrated and an introductory section describing the ecology of the brown seaweeds will help in interpreting patterns of distribution on the seashore.
