British Spiders Vols I-III
The first 2 volumes of Locket & Millidge's work were completed in 1951 and 1953, and remain classic texts on the spiders of Britain. The 3rd volume, with third author Merret, was completed in 1974 and contains additional species, corrections and 600 distribution maps.
Pisces Conservation have worked in collaboration with the Ray Society, the original publishers of the books, to re-issue them here in electronic form.
All 3 volumes are now available on a single CD, for Windows PCs and Macs, with fully searchable text and hyperlinks for ease of navigation.
The quality of reproduction of illustrations and text is excellent.
The books are in Adobe Acrobat pdf format (free Reader software included), allowing high-quality printing of the text and plates.
