This second volume of Bargoed and Gilfach in Photographs has been
published following the highly successful reception by the public of its forerunner. The photographic record of life in this part of the Rhymney Valley in Glamorganshire is continued with a collection of pictures that will provide lasting memories. The first volume in the series has found its way into the homes of not only today's Bargoed and Gilfach residents, but also to so many who have since moved to other parts. Many copies have been despatched uuerseas and no doubt, this second book will follow similar routes.As before, the book contains more than 200 photographs and illustrations, and will make an excellent addition to the collections of those readers who accumulate and savour documented evidence of an interesting past.
