Caerleon: Scenes Recalled

This is the second book by author Norman Stevens to feature an illustrated tour of the town of Caerleon in Monmouthshire, one of the country's finest reminders of Roman occupation. This 'sequel' has been published by both request and necessity in order to continue the recording of the town's history, ancient and modern. The range of subjects is wide and the photographs plentiful (well in excess of 200), which will be of much interest to a mixture of generations. For the more mature, there are a number of pictures of the local railway system and they will recall days when Caerleon's station was one of the best-kept in the county and a joy to see. For the younger, there is a collection of scenes from their schooldays and moments of recreation, reminding them of a not too distant past.
