Old Blairgowrie and Rattray

This excellent collection of photographs features several of Blairgowrie's former residents and worthies. There's a magnificent picture of the interior of Robertson's grocer's shop along with its staff, John Maclachlan the town crier, members of the bowling club photographed after a snowstorm in 1908, and historic line-ups of the local cricket and football teams. Essendy fruit farm and a group of fruit pickers, Kinclaven ferry, Rattray High Street and Muirtown of Ardblair are among many other pictures featured.
