Old West Kilbride

As well as the main village streets and shops, there are pictures of the school, scout troop, Kirktonhall House, the local garages and smiddy, a bus operated by Young's of West Kilbride, agricultural workers planting potatoes, and all manner of local shops and traders. Seamill and Portencross are included too, with pictures of Annie Anderson's horse-drawn ice cream van and Northbank Cottage, where an unsolved murder took place in 1913.
