This book contains 24 double hearts, which I have used as teaching material. Each heart is big enough to learn a particular technique or ground, but not too big to finish within a reasonable length of time.I have also created some woven braid hearts. Each half is worked in one piece and it's a challenge to make it work out right. When I plan a pattern, my aim is to use as few pairs as possible. That means fewer ends to fasten off The fewer the pairs, the neater the finished product.In these patterns, I have used a combination of techniques, but of course there are other ways of working. The possibilities are endless!
