Steamers of Loch Lomond
From 1818 to 1981 there were steamers in operation on Loch Lomond, the first being the Marion, which catered mainly for the demands of early tourism, and the last the Maid of the Loch. In the intervening period Loch Lomond's steamers were an integral part of the transport system of the district. The heyday of these steamer services is featured extensively in this photographic history.
