Old Crown Derby China Works

Following the closure of the china factory on Nottingham Road, six workers set up new works in King Street, Derby. This small concern, which ran from 1849 - 1935, provided continuity of porcelain production in the town of Derby. This is the first known full-length book to deal with all aspects of the operation at King Street. The book features over 220 colour illustrations and detailed descriptions about the individual pieces as well as new and fascinating information concerning production.
