Devon Tors: A Family Pottery

The Devon Tors pottery was at Bovey Tracey, Devon, and operated between 1921 and 1968. Products were mainly 'Torquay' type mottowares, kingfishers etc., but they also made Toby jugs, models of animals, pixies etc., as well as art pottery decorated by such famous names as Joseph Nekola (ex Wemyss pottery), and Sam Shufflebotham (Pountneys, Llanelli). This book gives a history of the pottery and the workers, as well as a comprehensive description of their range of wares.
