Dartmouth Pottery: A Collectors' Guide
The volume is based on original research by Reginald Score and gives a fascinating insight into the history of the Dartmouth Pottery and its products. This pottery was one of the youngest of the Torquay potteries, being founded in 1948. To many people 'Dartmouth Pottery' means mottoware, gurgling jugs and monochrome flower holders. Yet their products were infinitely more diverse, ranging from beautiful art pottery to finely moulded Toby jugs and sporting tankards. More recently, the company's moulded wares included money boxes and models in the form of animals and birds. Also included is a selection of backstamps used at the pottery.
